Company History

After being in the automotive repair business in Southern California for 37 years we moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ. Our love of old cars over the years caused us to start building street rods for others and ourselves.

Soon after building a crossflow radiator set up for our own '55 Chevy we started getting requests from other "tri-five" owners asking that we build the same thing for them. Don McDavitt Specialty Radiator was born. Now we ship aluminum specialty crossflow radiator kits all over the country, with parts for installation and detailed instructions.

We have expanded to offer SMOOTHIE Fiberglass Inner Fender Well Replacements. As with our specialty radiator, we started with the '55 Chevy and now have the '56 and '57 Chevy also.
